Aion Labs is a small lab out of Poland, run under Deep Forge sp. z o.o., building the Aion line of reasoning models on top of DeepSeek bases. The lineup is compact: four models, all text-to-text, none free. Aion-1.0 and Aion-1.0-Mini shipped together in February 2025, followed a year later by Aion-2.0 in February 2026 — the newest and cheapest of the three reasoning models. Alongside the reasoning line, Aion Labs also publishes Aion-RP 1.0 (8B), an uncensored roleplay model built on Llama 3.1. All four models support a 32K context window at minimum, with the three Aion-branded reasoning models running 131,072 tokens. This is a lab to know for reasoning-on-a-budget and unfiltered roleplay, not a broad general-purpose catalog.
